Alicia Anderson
Pastor Alicia Anderson answered her call to the ministry in 2009 at Bethel CME Church under the leadership of Dr. John W. Walker, Jr. However, she’s been a servant of the vineyard for many years. She was the CYF and Young Adult President at Bethel along with holding the position of Young Adult President for 7 years for the Florida Region. Currently she serves as the secretary for the Florida Annual Conference.

Dozell Varner
Pastor Dozell Varner is serving in his third year as a Democracy Fellow. He currently covers Broward, Dade, Volusia, Duval and Escambia counties. Dozell has served churches in Daytona Beach, Sterling, IL and currently in South Florida as Senior Pastor. He currently serves the good people of New LIfe - The Church Without Walls. He, along with his brother, hosts the Monday night forum, Dialogue With Dozie on Facebook and Youtube lives.

Reverend John E. Brown is an organizer with Faith in Florida, conducting voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization in Alachua, Columbia, Suwannee, Levy, Bradford, Hamilton, Dixie, Duval, and Taylor Counties. Rev. Brown is the Senior Pastor at St. Paul AME Church Gainesville located in the Windsor Community.

Bettye Watson
Growing up during Jim Crow and segregation, Reverend Watson learned the importance of community at a very early age. The enforcement of racial segregation and disenfranchisement of black and brown people in this country defined how she would serve her beloved community. For most of her adult life she has been involved in community work, instrumental in the fight against voter suppression and is an advocate for voter education.
